The event was graced by Sh. Bhavendra Kumar, Executive Director from Canara Bank, Head Office, Bengaluru, and chief guest Sh. Pankaj Setia, General Manager RBI, Chandigarh and Sh. Manoj Kumar Das, General Manager & Circle Head, Canara Bank, Chandigarh. Sh. Bhavendra Kumar, Executive Director, Canara Bank spoke about the Financial Inclusion Saturation Campaign in his address. He also discussed about a Canara Bank Savings Bank Account specially designed for women. He highlighted the active role of Canara Bank in reaching customers and helping them for providing banking services.
The participants were made aware on PMJDY account opening, enrolments of PMJJBY, PMSBY and APY, Re-KYC of all savings bank accounts where KYC is due. All the dignitaries interacted with the participants. Canara Bank also handed over cheque of worth Rs. 6.00 lakh were also presented to the beneficiaries of PMSBY and PMJJBY.
50 PMJJBY, 50 PMSBY and 25 APY enrolments were done on the spot and also 50 PMJDY Accounts were opened of the participants today. The event saw a good number of footfalls of participants.
