Mohali, February 6, 2025:All set to give a new dimension to the idea of lending by ensuring ultimate ease in meeting customers’ financial needs, Bank EMI has opened its doors to its valued customers.

Located at Jubilee Junction, Sector 66, Airport Road, Mohali, former Punjab DGP Siddhartha Chattopadhyay and his wife Aruna Chattopadhyay inaugurated Bank EMI in the presence of esteemed guests.

Founder Bahudutt Sharma, a visionary leader with 18 years of expertise in finance and leadership, having successfully managed a portfolio exceeding Rs 5,000 crore, said: “Bank EMI will honour loan requests in a seamless and hassle-free manner by focusing on speed, transparency, and convenience.”

“With ‘Finance Without the Fuss’ as its guiding principle, Bank EMI aims to make borrowing more accessible, ensuring rigid banking norms don’t stand in the way of financial growth of authentic applicants,” added Sharma.

Sharing details of products on offer from Bank EMI, Sharma said that for individuals and businesses without collateral, Bank EMI can assist through unsecured loan options, which do not require assets as security.

“These include personal loans – based on income, credit score, and repayment capacity; business loans for startups and SMEs with strong financial records and business plans; education loans based on academic performance and co-applicant financials; microfinance through government-backed loan programs, and loan against future earnings for salaried professionals and self-employed individuals,” he said.

Bank EMI also has loan products for startups and SMEs with strong financial records and business plans.

Sharma said that the financial services market in the Chandigarh region and Punjab is substantial and growing indicating ample opportunities for financial institutions to serve the needs of individuals and businesses in terms of diverse loan products. Notably, Bank EMI will not be only focusing on the Chandigarh capital region and Punjab but also Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and even Delhi NCR.

“I could see a clear gap in the market, which motivated me to launch Bank EMI. Many individuals and businesses struggle to access hassle-free financing due to complex paperwork, lengthy approval processes, and the need for collateral,” he said

“We aim at simplifying the application process, quick approvals and disbursements and offering personalized loan solutions on flexible and transparent terms, thus ensuring that borrowers get the financial support they need without the fuss,” added Sharma.

The event called for increased awareness and proactive measures under the theme “Livasa Hai Aasha Hai.”
An expert-led oncology panel, including Dr. Jatin Sarin - Director of Medical Oncology, Dr. Meenakshi Mittal - Director of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Vijay Bansal - Director of Surgical Oncology, Dr. Shubh Mahindru - Director of Surgical Oncology, Dr. Priyanshu Chaudhary – Sr. Consultant in Medical Oncology, Dr. Mukesh Chawala – Sr. Consultant in Hematology, and Dr. Meenakshi Sharma - Consultant in Radiation Oncology, discussed cancer prevalence, risk factors, and the crucial role of screenings in improving survival rates.
The experts stressed the importance of recognizing early signs of cancer, including unexplained weight loss, persistent fatigue, unexplained pain, changes in bowel or bladder habits, unusual bleeding or discharge, lumps in the breast or elsewhere, difficulty swallowing, changes in a wart or mole, and persistent cough or hoarseness. Prompt action on these signs can lead to better health outcomes and potentially save lives.
During this discussion, the hospital's comprehensive oncology care model was highlighted, showcasing all services under one roof. With a hematologist on staff to treat blood cancers and facilities for bone marrow transplants, Livasa Hospitals is uniquely positioned to provide holistic care. We believe early detection and timely treatment enhance both survival and quality of life, and our mission is to support patients with exceptional care, strength, and hope.”
Dr. Vijay Bansal shared, "With advancements in minimally invasive surgery, we can now reduce recovery times and improve outcomes. However, our care extends beyond surgery, as we integrate chemotherapy, radiation, and targeted therapies for comprehensive treatment.”
With 300-400 monthly chemotherapy sessions and approximately 1,000 new cancer patients treated annually, the hospital affirmed its commitment to advanced treatments and improved patient outcomes.
