चंडीगढ़ , डॉन बास्को नवजीवन सोसायटी के बच्चों संग क्रिसमस का त्योहार मनाने पहुंचे समाजसेवी व उद्यमी एम के भाटिया । सभी बच्चों ने सांता से क्रिसमस के गिफ्ट, टॉयज भेंट पाकर ,खूब मस्ती की । इस मौके पर भाटिया ने कहा कि मनुष्य सामाजिक प्राणी है, और अपने लिए तो सभी जीते हैं, असली मजा व सुकून तो दूसरों की मदद में है। 

ईश्वर असहाय लोगों की बहुत परवाह करते हैं। वे हमसे उम्मीद करते हैं कि हम असहाय लोगों की रक्षा करें। उनके साथ न्याय के लिए काम करें। हमें जरूरतमंदों, अनाथों के जीवन में योगदान देने के तरीके खोजने हैं।

इस मौके पर फादर रेजी ने लोक भलाई का संदेश दिया, उन्होंने एम के भाटिया द्वारा दिवाली पर अपने सहकर्मियों को लगातार 2 सालों तक कारें गिफ्ट कर उनकी हौसलाअफजाई करने के लिए उनकी तारीफ की।

On this occasion, Miss Verina Hussain from Mumbai participated as a celebrity guest, while S. K. Saini and Gurinder Singh were present, to recognize the talent of the girls participating in Celebration of Talent Season-10, Kanchan Mehra- Celebrity Makeup Artist, Raja Pratap- Textile Expert and Deepika Thakur (Miss India) were present in the special jury, organized with the special support of Lokesh Singhal of Sanctional Event Company, the organizer of this Celebration of Talent Season-10 and N.I. I. SD Institute, she said that her company will continue to organize programs to highlight such talent. Nostalgia revisited: SJOBA Winter Ball 2024 lights up tricity

Chandigarh, December 22, 2024: The SJOBA Winter Ball 2024, the eagerly awaited annual alumni meet of the St John’s Old Boys Association (SJOBA), dazzled the tricity region. Held at the Shivalik Country Club in Panchkula, the event unfolded a magical evening of elegance, nostalgia, and camaraderie.  

Reflecting on the event, Harpal Singh Malvai, President of SJOBA, remarked, “The Winter Ball remains a beloved tradition, uniting us in the spirit of brotherhood and pride as alumni of St. John’s High School.”  

Dr Anubhav Naresh, Vice President of SJOBA, emphasized, “This reunion exemplified the strength and diversity of our alumni network, which includes distinguished professionals from various fields, such as judiciary, administration, medicine, and entrepreneurship.”  

"This illustrious gathering lived up to its reputation as one of the most sought-after reunions in the area, drawing over 1000 elegantly dressed alumni and their companions," said Danish Singh Mangat, honorary secretary, SJOBA.

The celebration shone brightly as alumni from across decades reunited to celebrate the enduring legacy of St John’s High School, Chandigarh.  

The evening's highlight was the grand felicitation of the Golden Jubilee Batch of 1974 and the Silver Jubilee Batch of 1999. Both batches were honored for their remarkable journeys and significant contributions to the school’s storied heritage.  

Entertainment reached new heights with enthralling live performances by celebrated artist Gurnazar and DJ Rihya, adding rhythm and glamour to the occasion.  

Prominent alumni gracing the occasion included celebrated golfer Gurbaaz Maan, Punjab Home Secretary Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, and Mohali SP Harbir Atwal, alongside representatives from alumni chapters in the UK, US, Canada, and Europe.

अन्न भंडारा समाज सेवा करने का सर्वोत्तम तरीका :समाजसेवी अमिताभ रुंगटा

पंचकूला, 22 दिसंबर 2024: श्री श्याम करुणा फाउंडेशन ने फेज 1 औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में 145 वां अन्न भंडारा आयोजित किया। इस अवसर पर फाउंडेशन के फाउंडर एवं समाजसेवी अमिताभ रुंगटा ने उपस्थित होकर इस सेवा कार्य को सफल बनाया।

रुंगटा ने कहा कि अन्न भंडारा लगाना समाज सेवा करने का सर्वोत्तम तरीका है। अन्न भंडारे को हिंदू धर्म में सर्वोच्च माना गया है। यह मान्यता है कि अन्न भंडारा लगाने से न केवल जरूरतमंद लोगों की भूख शांत होती है, बल्कि यह प्रक्रिया लोगों को समाज के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारी का एहसास भी करवाती है ।

The two-day International 'School Leaders' Conference organized by NISA concludes

Chandigarh, December 20, 2024

The two-day International 'School Leaders' Conference, being held at Hotel Park Plaza, Zirakpur, under the aegis of Federation of Private Schools, Haryana and NISA concluded with great pomp and show. A large number of people from the country and abroad participated in this conference.

NISA President Kulbhushan Sharma said that on the concluding day, all the school leaders resolved to not to leave any stone unturned to make the country's education policy successful and to provide quality education to the children of the state and will improve the shortcomings of their schools by working on the quality charter of Nisha, so that the new National Education Policy could be made successful in collaboration with the government and the country.

He said that discussion on 100 model schools was held during the conference. Hundreds of schools showed interest in 100 model schools and said that we all want to transform their schools into model schools. Kulbhushan Sharma said that now a meeting will be held with all the schools and they will be given information of the format of 100 model schools. Following which selection criteria will be drafted and the schools which will fulfill the eligibility criteria will be made a part of 100 model schools. After this, discussion will be held with many more NGOs and companies to elevate their quality. This model will commence from next year.

He said that this scheme will be provided only to schools and after that this program will run for 3 years. In this, first of all the schools will be assessed and the assessment will be done every year. He said that a monitoring team will also be formed for them, which will monitor and support the school directors to make it successful from time to time. He assured the school directors that within 3 years their schools will be made better and the standard will be elevated, which will prove to be an example before the whole country and show new direction in the field of education. 

At the end of the conference, the school directors expressed their full confidence in NISA and its President Kulbhushan Sharma adding that they were ready to work with NISA and work for the improvement of these 100 schools.

Two-day 'School Leaders' Summit-2024 Commences in Zirakpur

The two-day 'School Leaders' Summit-2024 started today at Hotel Park Plaza, Zirakpur, Chandigarh under the aegis of Federation of Private Schools, Haryana and NISA. World renowned yoga guru and spiritual guide Swami Ramdev attended the program as the chief guest. He expressed his views on the innovative revolution in education and the steps required to make the New Education Policy (NEP) successful. On the occasion NISA President Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma and Executive Director (former) IAS Nagendra Prasad Singh of the Indian Education Board were also present with him.

While addressing the journalists, Swami Ramdev, while talking about promoting the Indian Education Board, emphasized on the slogan ‘One Nation One Education’. He said that there should be Sanatan consciousness in education, there should be consciousness about India's overall cultural, social, political, economic heritage, and we must move forward with all these . He said that children should study history, Vedic Math in Math, Vedic Science in Science and all the children should have a sense of unity and integrity of India, national religion, love for the nation, thinking of national interest and our future generations should become divine citizens. During the event, when journalists asked about a strong Lokpal, he said that his struggle for a strong and effective Lokpal is still going on.

NISA President Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that 100 Model schools will be built in Haryana and Delhi NCR and these schools will be accessed first by mapping them with NISA's quality charter. He said that whatever shortcomings are found in these schools, efforts will be made to eliminate them, so that these become quality schools and prove to be exemplary for the whole country. He said that NISA will help step by step in realizing the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the country a world leader.

Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that a large number of school directors and principals from various states across the country like Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh etc. participated in today's program. This event provided a unique platform for innovation, leadership and effective implementation of the new education policy in the education sector. All the schools present in this summit together resolved to make the new education policy successful and work together for its effective implementation.

Speaking at this summit, Executive Director (Former) IAS Nagendra Prasad Singh of the Indian Education Board said that it is necessary to change the form of education with time. He said that in today's time, education means only getting a job, due to which there is a lack of leadership and support in the students. He said that the Indian Education Board will overcome this shortage. He said that this summit has been organised with the aim of giving a new direction to the future of education, discussing policy changes and empowering school leadership.
